Offline (?) bookmark editor for Chrome?
My Chrome bookmarks are a mess. Until I switched to Chrome a few years back, I'd been on Firefox. I imported my FF bookmarks into Chrome but somehow they seemed to have imported 2 and a half times (some are there twice, some are there three times).
It would help if I could have a word-processor-like editor that I could use to cull/edit/delete and then excise all the current bookmarks and import a fresh set.
Googling hasn't given me the answers I need, although maybe I'm asking the wrong question of it

If you can handle some basic HTML, then...
Hit Ctrl-Shift-O in Chrome to go into bookmark manager
Click on the three dots up in the top right, and export your bookmarks to HTML
Open the file you exported (after taking a backup!) and modify at will
Go back into Chrome bookmark manager and delete everything
Import your modified export file.
If you manage to screw it up, re-import the backup you kept and try again.

Or just export and open in Word to edit as you like, then Import/overwrite.
