Hangouts for iOS Now Supports CallKit
I'm not sure when Google snuck this update out, but you can now answer a call on the lockscreen with the iOS dialer rather than trying to catch the little Google green popup.

I noticed this too - big improvement having missed many calls trying to grab that stupid pop-up. The only downside, I don't know which number they called - my phone or GV.
