Amazon Prime Video Global

US$3 for first three months, then US$6 a month after that. Great if you don't have Amazon Prime in your country. Will be interesting to see how it compares to Netflix in terms of content:

Big question will be whether the entire library will be available globally.

It was great that Netflix launched internationally, but basically every country has just a fraction of what's offered in the US. In fact, some Netflix-produced shows (such as House of Cards) still aren't available on Netflix in other countries due to licensing agreements (where Netflix licensed the show to a local distributor with exclusive rights before Netflix launched there).

If the entire Amazon Prime library is available in the 200 countries, fantastic. If not, then this is click bait by Amazon, nothing more.

As a UK Prime member, I find that, apart from The Grand Tour, there is precisely nothing I want to watch in the Video Library.

As a US Prime member, I watched a total of 1.5 movies on Amazon Video this year. I spent over 100 hours on Netflix. Don't get me wrong, I love Amazon Prime and ordered over 300 items this year with free Prime shipping, but there is really not too much to watch on Amazon Video.

I watch more (U. S.) Amazon content than Netflix. Then again, I'm kind of weird, so Amazon's selection of indie films appeals to me.

For Amazon-specific titles, I would think folks here would enjoy the Bosch series.

There is Mozart in the Jungle and Man in the High Castle, but that's all I can really name (oh and obviously Grand Tour now).
