I realized while travelling that Google doesn't work so well. In Vietnam, many locations on its maps are way off. And when searching in other countries many times one cannot find information in English (and Google doesn't translate well). For example, does JOG airport (Yogyakarta) offer visa-free entry for 30 days? Initially the document listing visa-free entries didn't include it. I cannot find an updated one online (in English), and most google results were tripadvisor (that said no). Lo and behold, it does offer it.
Anybody have other tricks to find info when travelling? Sometimes I add in "flyertalk" to narrow google results, but Flyertalk doesn't have all the information (and its own search engine stinks).
