Portable Blu-ray player with screen

Is there a good, portable Blu-ray player with a built-in screen out there?

All I'm seeing is portable DVD players but nothing that can take a Blu-ray disc...

there's at least 2 bluray portable players on amazon

Amazon.com: Sony BDPSX910 Sony Portable Blu-ray Player (Old Model): Electronics Amazon.com: Sony BDPSX910 Sony Portable Blu-ray Player (Old Model): Electronics
Amazon.com: Azend Group Corp BDP-M1061 Maxmade Portable 10-Inch Blu-Ray DISC/DVD Player (Black): Electronics Amazon.com: Azend Group Corp BDP-M1061 Maxmade Portable 10-Inch Blu-Ray DISC/DVD Player (Black): Electronics

I have concerns though, if those manufacturers actually update the firmware to play newer discs

You might want to look into a used / older laptop.

Most of the portable DVD players are as cheap as they can possibly make them, which means they're not going to be putting a 1080p screen on them.

I assume you have an extensive Blu-Ray disc collection already? Check your cases for Vudu/UltraViolet codes where you can download copies to an existing device for viewing.

Also, at ~$220 outlay for a portable player, that's anywhere between 50 and 75 moive rentals that could be downloaded from iTunes/Google Play/Vudu/Amazon/etc... so is it really worth adding a heavy additional device to lug around if you already have a tablet, laptop, etc?
