LG G5
So the G5 looks fantastic, and much has been written on it.
But the following link really stuck out: Unlocked LG G5 on B&H Photo Should Work on GSM and CDMA Networks (Verizon Included) - DroidLife
In essence, a carrier-free unlocked device, one of the best ones out there, and can work on both GSM and CDMA networks, and can be used with LTE carriers in North America, Europe, etc.

As listed on B&H, this G5 features LTE bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 17, 20, and 25.

US Model Nexus 5x also supports Verizon CDMA and LTE band 3, 7, 20 EU
Nexus 6P and Moto X Pure Style US models are missing LTE band 20

I'd be overjoyed for a dual sim Verizon compatible phone so I could keep my US # for sms and use international local data. I'm not aware of one which Verizon would activate the IMEI of (based on Verizon IMEI whitelists).
It is nice to have a few models to choose from and I definitely applaud supporting common global LTE + US CDMA.
