Technical Question: Shockwave Flash
Dear Tech gurus,
Last Thursday, I started getting an error that states "A plugin (Shockwave Flash) isn't responding".
I have tried reinstalling Shockwave Flash, also ran Antivirus programs....
I have had no luck in getting rid of the error....
Any suggestions on what I can try next? Anyone else getting this error?
Thanks

I uninstalled Flash long ago, and suggest you do too unless you really need it for something. Chrome comes with its own built in Flash support, but other browsers don't. But the web as a whole is moving away from Flash in favor of HTML5, which is much more secure. Flash is a mass of vulnerabilities and privacy issues.
But if you insist on using it...
-which browser are you using?
-is the browser up to date?
-is it only one site or multiple sites? if the former, which site?

This is a game I have accessed on Facebook for years "MyVegas". I usually just run it in the background... gets me chips for free rooms and shows in Vegas. Never had a problem before... and verified on their technical problems that there is not a problem with their product.
I have tried on Chrome, IE Explorer and Microsoft Edge browsers. They are all up-to-date.
My whole system slows when I try to go into the program... and I get the plugin error.

In my understanding Shockwave and Flash are separate products:
https://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates.html
Look at the grey box on the upper righthand side.

I am updated on the latest versions of all products.
Not sure of why it is slowing my system down.
