Experience Using a Sprint iPhone on Freedom Pop?

Does anyone have experience buying a Sprint iPhone off eBay and then using it as a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) on the FreedomPop (FreedomPhone) network?

I've bought one off Craigslist before and activated on FreedomPop as a purely data-only device. FreedomPop is Data-only and nothing more. For voice, try RingPlus.

Make sure you clear the IMEI/MEID with Sprint to see if its ok to activate/isn't stolen ("iCloud locked")/deadbeat account ("bad ESN").

I'm about to try FreedomPop BYOD with a new Sprint iPad Air (one).

msp3, how do you find the voice quality? Also, can you confirm that it's still true that FreedomPop is not "true" voice but instead is VoIP over mobile data?

FreedomPop does not have any voice at all. The VoIP is also terrible in quality and doesn't work half the time since it's on Sprint data.

Data by itself however works just fine and quite reasonable.
