Paypal problem

Starting last week, having problems logging on:

1. Firefox - after typing in sms code as part of two step verification, spins and can't access. But works fine with chrome.

2. iPhone app - get a system error after trying to log on.

Called CS and they issued a trouble-shooting service last week, follow-up today with no news. Anyone else having similar issues?

I suspect that there is an larger issue - my Android version of the app has been giving me an unknown error for about the same time now. Typical Paypal to not know about it.

Even after upgrading to 8.1 on my 5s and kitkat 4.4.x on Moto G, continue to be locked out of the mobile app. Am I the only one?

Emails to support aren't getting my satisfactory answer....

I can't use the Paypal mobile app since signing up for 2 factor auth. I just get an error that support is "coming soon" for two factor in the mobile app, and to use the website in the meantime.

I'm done with Paypal in any case - a friend sent me money and Paypal took a 3-4% commission. Venmo and Square Cash are free (at least for now).

Yep, you're right! Just got off the phone with tech support and they confirmed it's due to 2 step auth bug that hasn't been resolved yet.....

As far as stop using paypal, unfortunately need it for eBay. And one can avoid commissions by sending as "family/friends".
