I have been using GoDaddy for quite some time for domain registration. When it comes time to renew, will I earn miles for going through one of the airline shopping portals for a renewal? or only for a new purchase? The airline sites are unclear on this...they cite that you cannot earn on "Aftermarket domain purchases," but I do not know what that means...does anyone have any insight?

Old post, but I suspect they mean you can't earn points on buying domains from a third party who's already registered them.
