You going to get it, or too little too late?

It is definitely late but as BB is still big in the business world I'll get it just so I can not miss out on something.

If only they'd done this three years ago.

iMessage has taken over for me.

I very much like that BB is using PIN identification as opposed your phone number as apps like WhatsApp does.

Will definitely be giving this a try.

But PIN identification? How is that done?

What would be really cool is if you are able to link your BB PIN to the blackberry account that runs on the Androi / iOS app.

Uhh - you just remember/write down your PIN?

Much better IMO than having people you don't know automatically linked to your WhatsApp account and similar programs because they happen to have a phone number that used to belong to one of your contacts. @:-)

Hopefully this will put those unused servers back into a slightly less unused state.

I still have folks who use BBM (on actual BBs), so I'll probably get it to use with them.

I don't know anyone (except from work) who uses BBM anymore. Now if Apple would let Android users get into the iMessage system... I will be all over it! 95% of my relatives are on iMessage and PhotoStream except me.

The only people I know who still are on BB are my work's managers as my work is still using BBs.

Maybe they have already sold the unused servers as they are stopping the rollout because they can't handle the load...
