There was an earlier thread that had some good suggestions. I use a combination of Feedly and www.protopage.com. Feedly is a nice Google Reader replacement.

Try ighome. I set up a page ( ready to go when igoogle shuts down) that looks quite similar and is being promoted as an igoogle replacement.

Thanks David, just registered. Anyway one can sync iGoogle with ighome? I tried to sync feebly but not too successful and don't have to re-create all my tabs and RSS feeds again!

You can download apps on your iphone. You can even try. Let me know it is working.

I know they are different, sorry I wasn't clear. . The www.protopage.com lets you create a personal home page like iGoogle. I just have decided to sometimes go straight to Feedly rather than a more iGoogle like home page. In the previous thread protopage was mentioned several tiles as I recall.

Same here except that I replaced iGoogle years ago. When iGoogle added the "tab" thingy back then.. I hated it so much that I started looking for replacement. I don't want to see the tab when I only use one screen.

Netvibes has a very clean look and did what I needed.

I'm not finding anything I like yet. I just want four things from my iGoogle: my Google Calendar feed, TripIt, WSJ, and NPR.
