Tablet for making cellular calls

Does anyone have a comparison? I know of only Samsung Tab 2 but need something with a better processor and rear camera. The objective is to have one device and not a separate phone to carry around.

Galaxy Note 8.0 would be a good choice when it surfaces with 3G. The international Galaxy Tab 7.7 was a good choice if you can find one. Always the Asus Padphone units too.

Just get any tablet that meets your need, install SIP software and get SIP provider (you could also port your number). It will save you big $$$$

Some new tablets have phones built in. The Galaxy Note 8 and Asus FonePad for example.

Otherwise, you can use Skype or equivalent.

the older Galaxy Tabs has GSM built in and the international models are sold as phones, but the USA models sold bt AT+T - T-mobile have the phone blocked .
it can be hacked to restore the phone function by using European software.

Note sure if the USA sold Galaxy note is blocked or not

with Android, you can set up a Google Voice account and use GrooveIP to make phone calls over data. Wi-fi, 3g, 4g, etc.
