SIM for Tablet in Europe
Okay - I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy 10.1 tablet. I mainly use Wi-Fi for data here in the US, but will be using cellular network for data in Europe if Wi-Fi is not available or not robust.
Can I buy a data SIM card in Europe (or online before I go - any recommendations?) and replace the VZ SIM in the tablet to access local cellular networks for data. Is it more complicated than merely taking out the VZ SIM and replacing it with the Europe SIM?
Verizon global data is $25 per 100MB.
I'm assuming that a local SIM card would provide cheaper data costs.
Thanks

I think you should have a look at the sticky at the top of this forum on just this topic.
Your main problem is likely to be where you are going. There is no country called Europe!
We look at the continental North America and realise we can go there and use the dollar and probably the same SIM, in "Europe" there are dozens of different countries with their own currency and telecoms operators... and we drive on different sides of the road depending which countries you are in
See if the sticky helps, if not come back and give us an idea which countries you are going to, then we can probably help a bit more.

Please check the pre-existing sticky at the top of the forum for links to country-specific threads. There is also a thread for SIMs that would work in multiple countries. If you don't see a thread for a country you'd like information on, just create it and then click the red triangle to bring it to Scott/my attention so we can add it to the list.
