DropBox upload limit
I have 33GB available for my DropBox account. One day I uploaded 4-5 gigs worth of files and Dropbox said they had to temporarily suspend my account usage (was fine after 24 hours) because I maxed out the upload limit. I thought it was unlimited as long as I have enough space? Anyone run into this problem?

It looks like you should have been good up to 20GB in a day. https://www.dropbox.com/help/45/en

How are you uploading?
The Web browser page and the app have different limits as to file sized that can be uploaded.
You may also be hitting bandwidth limits and not file size limits, some areas have them (like public folders).
Drop them a note, they will probably give you very detailed information of the limit you reached and offer ways around it. They are very responsive.

Cordelli, if you use the desktop client, there is no limit of how much you upload (of course up to 20GB). The web browser and mobile apps definitely has a limit. Not sure how much. I only use the desktop client.

Downgrading DropBox back to free
After upgrading to the 100GB, I decided I may (in a few months) downgrade down to the free version. While I was using the free version, I had 34 free GBs.
However, this is what the website states:
"Are you sure you want to downgrade your Dropbox account?
This page allows you to downgrade your Dropbox account from 133.88 GB back to 20 GB of storage. "
So I only get 20GB back and not my previous free 34GBs? Anyone run into this issue?

"Each friend you refer to Dropbox yields 500 MB of free space for Dropbox Free accounts or 1 GB for Dropbox Pro subscribers."
