Data Recovery Service
Has anyone used a data recovery service to recover the data from a damaged hard drive? I have replaced the circuit board, but the drive is still not accessible.

they're not cheap but if anyone can get it, they can. if not, you don't pay.

There are multiple threads on this same topic, if you do a search. But I've used Ontrack about a half dozen times in the last 20 years. They are very reliable and one of the oldest in the business - they used to write popular disk utility software in the early 90's. I just checked for their website, and they've become Kroll Ontrack.

No doubt as I posted to some of them. In this case the term data recovery produces nothing that applies for the last year using the less than useful FT search function.
And thanks for the suggestions.
