I made a comparison taking into consideration the weekly adds and the difference between Las Vegas and Honolulu was about 40 USD for the same laptop.

Two positives to Hawaii:
1. Sales tax is 4.166% (it's actually an excise tax but the distinction will just confuse most people)
2. The weather is nice for when you're waiting in line all night.

I am not that keen on buying this laptop as to wait the whole night .
Although I have done it once in SC and it was chilly enough...

Next weekend will be in LAS. How does is compare? are there prices better? any ocasional discounts? I am searching for a regular laptop.

Thanks
Sometimes it is cheaper to shop online and get the stuff delivered to the hotel.
If you e.g. order in an online shop of a Montana based company like vans.com, the normally will be no sales tax as well
