https://aereo.com/ is a new(ish) service that allows you to stream/dvr cable tv. Currently it is only for the NYC area and only for mobile devices (Android, iPhone, iPad ect). I have a few (very few) 3 month free invites. If you're in NYC (no Westchester, NJ or LI as it is a location sensing service) and have one of the devices and want put in a request and I'll see what I can do.
