thunderbird 11.0.1

somewhere about tbird 9 or 10, (now 11.0.1) my downloaded mail messages disappear in a day. is there a fix for this? i have an archive key, but cannot find the file in which they are stored. somewhere in the distant past, i had a hold file, that is also gone.

In Account Settings, look at Synchronization & Storage. There are options for when messages automatically get deleted.

i have the "don't delete any messages" instruction. the messages seem to last less than 2 days. i have none of the junk or span settings on, as that is done at my mail service company.
