Talking Need a HP Touchpad Case

Yes, I finally got the mythical HP 32GB Touchpad. My friend who works at HP got me one for Xmas (yup, as a gift, cost me zero dollars, and I had to open it because I wasn't going to wait that long)

But now, I want to buy a case for it

I have a ton of crap on my backpack, and want to take it with me, and there is space for it next to my laptop, but I have a fear that the thing may crack under pressure

Is there a sturdy, yet slim case for it?

HP carries cases, have you looked at their site to see if it'll suit your needs?

Just wanted to see if someone has had one, read some online reviews, but they don't really tell you how sturdy they are, or if someone is just really whining, and could give a skewed opinion

I actually have an extra, unopened one.

Bought 3 Touchpads but only two arrived. In the meantime I bought 3 cases. Now I have an extra. More than happy to get rid of it. I believe I paid $25.

Feel free to PM me.

I have this case on my Touchpad and it is a nice case. It was on sale on the HP site for a real nice price, I do not know if they have any left.

I ended up with two 32GB TouchPads, but sold them. Wishing I kept one and sold it to my brother at cost since he ended buying a Kindle Fire - not that impressed by it.

Well, I got one from Amazon for $22, let's see how well it works.

It's a nifty device, but too bad a lot of apps are not there that I am used to with Android, but at least it has kindle, and my daughter loves reading books in it

Now, if it only came with Google Books

You realize everyone and their dog has made their Touchpad a dual boot Android/Web OS machine, right?

Cyanogenmod Alpha 3 is the current version.

I might buy this one - http://www.myincipio.com/HP-TouchPad...Nylon-Case.asp

I have this one, and it's very nice (although I wish it had more viewing angle options) - http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Slimboo...2669202&sr=8-2

However, I'm currently using this, and it's fantastic (however I'd love to have it inside a case stand when I'm not at home, which I'm still looking for) - http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Protect...2669202&sr=8-7 (also available in black)

I won't install anything on Alpha, I will wait at least for a beta

Sure, you can even wait for the stable release. However, there are tons of people (including myself) running the Alpha with few problems. Even the release versions packed with mobile phones are known to have bugs.

Amazon have been doing their variable pricing on these for a few weeks - with the pricing ranging between $16 and $25 depending on when you look...

Also came across a few cases/keyboards/touchstones in Office Depot today too ($20/$30/$40 respectively)
