Rather than type out pretty much the same thing twice - my "review" of a brand new Kindle Fire HD 7" 32GB, from over in the "Amazon devices" thread:

I'm currently in the process of converting my iTunes library over to MP3 so I can move it into the Amazon Cloud and then I will be done with all things Apple, and I won't miss them a bit.

Though a happy iOS user (currently), I've always, always maintained my music library as 100% MP3 and have always purchased my digital music from Amazon before the Kindle Fire every existed so that I don't have to "convert" should I need/choose to move.

Smart move. I prefer Android tablets like the Nexus 7, but anyone who is a Kindle Fire fan or an aspiring one should check out this tweet by Amazon:

Looks like a Kindle Fire will be a "Lightening Sale" item on Amazon sometime tomorrow. Good chance to get a deep discount if you watch closely and jump when it's live.

What if the literary content that you could have on your tablet/e-reader was integrated into the airplane's on-board entertainment system?

Would you use it?

Doing a survey about it, if you have a couple seconds: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/MHLNT66
