Unlocked phone with GPS and European 3g

I have a Nokia E63 and am looking for something new.

I was thinking of a Nokia E72 or E5 (qwerty with 2.3" screen). At the same price point I can get a Nokia C6, which has a 3.2" screen. It seems able to do everything the E72/E5 can do (although is larger and heavier) and seems to meet my feature requirements.

Features I want:

- maps that don't require a data connection
- built-in GPS
- GPS logging software
- wifi hotspot
- 3g in Europe
- reasonable music player
- sync with Google calendar
- reasonable browser
- unlocked
- $200-$250 or so

I don't care about a keyboard if there's a reasonable touchscreen. I don't care about camera, video or social networking

Is there another good alternative? iphones and every Android I've looked at are much more expensive.

I realize Nokia symbian won't be developed further, but don't really care.

Yeah, the C6 sounds like your kind of phone.
$250ish unlocked will barely buy you an Optimus T and I don't know of any no data link required maps software for Android. Plus, I don't think the Optimus T does european 3g nor provides a wifi hotspot(neither does the C6).

Basically I'm looking for a handheld GPS device and wifi hotspot to use while traveling, with a few associated functions. Sounds as if the C6 is the way to go.

I have been looking for the same ,

been looking at a 5800 because of screen size

the E71-72 seems to have a pretty small screen like my blackberrys

but I would love to hear what others use,

Neither the E71 nor the 5800 will do 3g in Europe. The C6 has a slide-out qwerty keyboard, and is heavier than the 5800.
