HasWifi.com - Inflight Wifi Tracking Resource

Hey Guys,

Not sure if this is the right forum or if this would be looked at as spam... but here goes anyways. I was frustrated recently when I was trying to find out if my flight would be equipped with inflight internet or not. Anyway, after a long and fruitless search I decided I would do something about it -- so I built HasWifi.

Right now I'm only tracking GoGo enabled aircraft, which means it's mostly only domestic flights, but I'm looking to expand the service if it becomes popular enough. Oh.. and for any TripIt users out there, you can use your TripIt information to show upcoming trips without having to search.

Anyways, feedback, comments, criticism, suggestions and questions are all encouraged.

This might be better off in the TravelTech forum. But good idea!

Cheers.

AA already has a product to check your flight within 24 hours of departure. They have around 150 wi-fi enabled aircraft.

On balance, this is probably better suited to the Travel Technology forum, and I'll move it there. Ocn Vw 1K, Moderator, TravelBuzz.

Just added Alaska Airlines as well as a different TripIt experience. Enjoy!

Hopefully this is useful for some people...
