So my daughter was "sent" this by friends x3 on Saturday. What was it - and will it have lodged something on her computer like a virus or a program for phishing of her bank details? Or is it just something relatively harmless that makes ads pop up?
She has the latest AVG protection and it hasn't flagged anything up.
Is there anything she needs to do to ensure her laptop is secure?

Any other suggested tests to see if her laptop is infected?

I really don't know, but here's more about this from sophos.com. I'm not a Facebook user, but this sounds like it posts itself to your network of friends when the link is clicked.
