Other than "looks cool", I don't see any advantage of these over a regular thin laptop. Plus, more parts that can break...

That's an interesting exercise in industrial design, but I would still need something to hold other items such as a pad of paper and a few file folders. I can stick those in a neoprene case with my little Lenovo X100e and I'm good to go with very little bulk. Perhaps this is more of an entertainment device.

I can just see the expression on the face of a TSA officer when you ask him if it needs to be unrolled.

They probably wouldn't know what to think!

OTOH, it is an interesting design, but I'll stick with my 15" MacBook Pro and my Lenovo..
