I agree. For $2/month, this sounds excellent. And having an areacode of 815 doesnt bother me at all.

I have been using a Sharp Broadband Fax for years. Not sure that they still sell them.
It uses Port 25 which some cable company's Block ( Comcast ) but you can work around that issue. After buying it there are no other fees and the faxes arrive in my e-mail inbox.

No issues... but I send and receive maybe 3 faxes a year. So I really don't use it often, but it has worked when I needed it to.
