Dual Sim adaptors?

Has anyone used one before?

There seem to be two types, one where you have to trim your sims to fit an adaptor, and another where you dont.

This video shows one of the dual sims working with a Blackberry Bold

-I don't have a blackberry, but how would BBM work with this, would it only work when the registered sim was active, or is it via the phone etc?

if you really needed to go to that much trouble, it would seem easier to just buy a 2nd phone and carry that with you, or at perhaps buy one of those samsung dual sim card phones
