it's a legitimate question...

I should have been clearer that they have worked great, but were dropped recently and just don't seem to have the same sound. they're several years old and i'll likely have to pay something for repair, if they can be repaired at all. moreover, with the advance in tehcnology and all the new products out there, i'm of the opinion i can buy a better product for a bit more than the possible repair cost. i'm wieghing my options.
