We travel with a dual voltage travel kettle as 1 person drinks coffee, the other drinks tea. The coffee drinker has a mugtop filter, the tea drinker in-cup filter. The one we have collapses down, takes up very little space, and it is far cleaner than any hotel room coffee maker.

We travel with a collapsible pour-over coffee maker. It'll take #2 or #4 filters. Simple, folds flat. Keeps Mrs. KRSW happy.

Yeah, I just travel with instant coffee now and use the kettle in the room. Right now I'm using Maud from Amazon. But Nescafe Gold (or Red, I think), is OK also.
