Anyone else buy their own mini-shampoo and soaps?

I always have shampoo and conditioner in my carry on in my liquids baggie, as you never know when you will need them (delays etc.) I figure if I arrive somewhere without them, or ones that don't work for me, I can probably hit a shop the following day. For longer rips, I will just bring full size shampoo and conditioner. I bring my soap in a plastic case, and I find that if I stand it on a dry facecloth after bathing it will dry out quickly, avoiding the gloop. I also have, for short trips, small packs of 'soap leaves' - you can get pretty scented ones on amazon, or functional ones in packs like breath strips from places like Eddie Bauer / hiking shops etc. Just always use dry hands to take the leaf out! They also do shampoo strips in similar packs, but I haven't tried those.
