Good/exceptional travel pillow that works with over-ear headphones
Does anyone have a recommendation. I really like the new Bose NC over-ear and would like to have a pillow that is functional and allows me to use them
Thanks!
Thanks!

Funny, I just posted about this pillow in another thread, but you might find it helpful here too.
I used this with the new Bose QC35 and it worked great due to the structure of the Trtl 'pillow'. It has a cervical support system that you can see in the description, and I was able to position it so that the earcup of the headphones fit right between the two supports when I leaned my head to the side. Not sure if that makes sense, but it worked great for me. The Trtl looks a little odd but is surprisingly comfortable and supportive.
I also find that using earplugs under the headphones really helps block everything out. Pretty sure a baby could be screaming right next to me and I would just snooze away.

Decided to check out all 4 of the "major" try them with the Bose NC and see what felt best
1) Jpillow - comfy but no go with headphones
2) Travelrest - weird - not sure what you do with the long thing (maybe hug it?)
3) Trtle soft - this one had a possibility of using with headphones, I didn't like the support seemed a little shaky.
4) Cabeau Evolution - I liked this one the best - I could use the Bose if I turned them sideways - so the band of the headphones was at the back
So returning the others and keeping the Cabeau - some long flights coming up will report back

Lol I had to laugh about the Travelrest. I actually found it fairly comfortable but definitely felt odd hugging an inflatable apostrophe around strangers. And as you observed, the JPillow and Travelrest do not play well with headphones.
Sorry to hear the Trtl didn't work out for you but glad you found another solution in the Cabeau.

I got the chance to try out the Cabeau Evolution cool today - and I so wanted it to work - fits with over-the-ear headphones pefectly! However for me it did not provide any real support. My head could fall forward or to either side with little resistance. So no luck and back to Evolution

I have the Muji Neck Pillow and it works really well for me and works fine with headphones. There is also a version with a hood that doubles as your eye cover that I have that is really useful but I'm not sure it's being sold outside of Asia right now.

My wife and I end up going for inflatable that prevent strain. This one works very well for us. The ergonomic design works really well in supporting the neck just that little more than the standard inflatable travel pillow.

I use an OstrichPillow Light -- it cushions the Bose headband when I lean against the window.
