I have a medium BR brief. It's really light weight and I love the strap/handle. This was essentially that only bag that could fit my large old-school 15" MacBook pro. I would have bought a Tom Bihn bag but I don't think my laptop would have fit. The back of the bag has a strap to slide it on your roller luggage. Could easily put your strap in the one of the front pockets that zip away. Pretty happy with my purchase.

Have bought an ebags backpack before. The laptop section was too big for me and I don't think I could effectively use all the space. Ended up returning it.
