iPhone 6 Plus Case

Anyone able to recommend a good case for the 6 Plus? I usually go to Otterbox, but they haven't made one for it yet. The Griffin Survivor looks good, however one of the users said it doesn't allow for headphones to seat correctly. This a deal breaker since I use them sometimes on the plane.

I'm open to any price since work will allow me to expense it.

Well, it is not out yet, but the Lifeproof case looks promising. I was hoping the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus would be waterproof like the newer Androids, but they are not, so a waterproof case would come in handy.

Not many 6 Plus cases out yet. I like to use a holster, so I went with the one from Seidio.

As someone who drops his phone all the time and went from an Otterbox Defender to a Mophie Juice Pack to a Casemate Tough 2, I've actually been quite happy with the Apple leather case. I know it's overpriced and perhaps not as tough as some of the others mentioned, but I'm OK with it for now, and it does look nice and maintains the feel of the phone itself while still feeling like it offers an acceptable amount of protection.

I gave my mom the iPhone 6 Plus with the Apple leather one. She says she drops the phone like three times a day and the phone has no damage to it, so I think it's pretty good. My girlfriend also has a 6 Plus with an Apple leather case and it's also working pretty well.

My 6 has a like a zillion dings on it already (and a chip on the screen), but I don't use a case and the phone is a slippery mother.

I have a 6 (not a +) that should arrive in 2 weeks. As with the 5, my main case will be a Magpul Field Case. They also make a slim (executive) and bump (thicker, more protective) case.

Really great products. But the 6 models have not been released yet. Last week they gave me a 30 November ETA. And the release will include the +.
MAGPUL

Until then I ordered and received a Spiegen Slim Armor. Looks solid. The+ is priced about the same.

I have the Slim Armor for the 6 Plus. Has survived 3 drops without any issues. I have since swapped it for the Tough Armor version as the Slim Armor's rounded edges contributed to me dropping the phone.

Check out the brand Spigen. They are stocked at Amazon. My friends and I have four different models by them, ranging from a simple bumper case to more protective models, and I've been impressed with all. The materials, design, protection, fit and finish are all excellent. They do a good job of providing low profile protection. I would compare them favorably against brands like Incase or Speck for a fraction of the price (a.k.a. without the Apple store's ridiculous pricing structure.)

I agree with the Apple leather case recommendation. I've dropped it on pavement multiple times. I've also applied a Spigen screen protector and am liking it (I usually hate the feel of them).

Looks like the beveled edges on your Tough Armor make a difference; I may take that route also at some point.^

Anybody have any new experiences or observations to share?

Mr aBroad is receiving a 6+ for xmas, and we're trying to decide on a cover. We've both always been happiest with the bumper-style cases (he has a Spigen on his 5 and I have a Luvitt on my 5S). He's zero-abuse device user (no drops, etc.), but still needs to be able to set it down, carry it in his pockets, etc., without worrying about scratches. Least bulky and unobtrusive is best.

As an update to my earlier post, my prior iPhone 6+ with an Apple leather case and a spigen screen protector had to be replaced after I bumped the screen (which was sitting in my pocket) with the armrest of my car when it accidentally bumped into me.

Felt a tremendous pop, pulled the phone out and huge cracks, coming from just to the left of the ear speaker.

The case had no hope of saving from this sort of destruction, which frankly I think is the result of a design defect. I'm surprised that the spigen screen protector didn't help, however.

The case has protected the phone from many, many drops, however (I'm a clutz).

I'm still going with the Apple leather case, though, and a screen protector that I purchased at the Apple Store (sorry, don't know which one). It's a matte antiglare finish.

My Apple leather case is getting pretty scuffed up. Not sure I'd recommend it anymore based on my experience. I just have to be happy that it's the case getting scratched (and little strings of leather now peeling off) rather than my phone...

No idea about it, but I did see an Anker case with screen protector come up on Facebook the other day. I have had excellent experience with their power products and would probably not hesitate to buy a case from them sight-unseen if I needed a case (and at $15 right now, it's almost cheap enough to throw away if it's not good).
