(All gone) Patagonia MLC bag on sale $79

mods please move this if not the appropriate forum.

Lately I've been reading a bit on this forum about one baggin it and I really liked Red oxx, bihn, etc. I wasn't sure about the prices. I then found the Patagonia MLC and really liked it but again was holding off for some reason. Well today noticed the price on seaweed color only and was very excited ^

edited: trying to remove the dang wink, I guess I put it there by mistake

That's a good deal for this bag.

Rebate, points, or miles opportunities

Get a cash rebate or points/miles through some of the "malls"
http://evreward.com/store/go/1703-patagonia
For example, four points/$ at the Chase Ultimate Rewards Mall.

That is a very nice bag! I ordered the MLC Wheelie in Seaweed on sale for $114. It also looks like a great carry-on wheelie but it might be too small. I figured since Patagonia ships for free it was worth ordering. If I don't find it useful it can always be retured to a store.

I am a big fan of my Patagonia MLC from 2006. It has been with me on trips to Europe and multiple trips to Asia and around North America. I think they've added some nicer features, like better straps in the new versions. This version is, however, smaller than the one older versions.

I suppose the colour could be worse. This seaweed colour almost looks like army olive drab.

I thought of opting for the MLC before getting a B&R carry-on but couldn't find a sale so this is tempting.

I just ordered one. Will be my first Patagonia product. Even at this $79 price, I really don't need another bag, but welcome to the collection!

Placed an order some time last week. UPS should be delivering an MLC later this afternoon. This is a really good price, or at least good enough just to add a different bag into the rotation.

Glad to see some people took advantage. Mine will not be here until Thursday, very long shipping time. This will be my first Patagonia product as well, we shall see

I'll get to test it out on Monday after I receive for 4 days down in South Beach. I don't know whats more exciting Miami or the bag.

That Patagonia sale is online and in store. If you have a Patagonia store near you it would be worth it to try there as well.

I admit I was tempted by this one. I have the Osprey Porter, but this one looked good too.

But I really wish I'd caught the MLC Wheelie sale a few months ago (for a few $$ more). There are so many times that I still prefer a wheelie. The downside for any 'backpack' style case out there is the lack of a proper hipbelt. It's understandable, but it means the weight is on my shoulders (not good) instead of on my hips (good).
