Replacement for Pathfinder

I've had a Pathfinder 24" trolley for over 10 yrs now and the wear and tear is finally starting to show. The thing was built like a tank.

Looks like Pathfinder went bankrupt several years ago and I really haven't seen anything nearly comparable in terms of build quality.

Does anybody have any recommendations for a replacement? Rimowa looks to have a nice hardsided product but are there any others out there that are good?

Many folks here - me included - would go for Briggs & Riley as a general rule. But I don't know what a pathfinder is or if B&R have a suitable replacement for what you have in mind.
Maybe worth looking at B&R.

Does B&R make a hard side bag? I think the OP wants that.

Pathfinder was the 2nd tier brand offered by a company whose 1st tier brand Andiamo is much better known around here.

While I concur with your B&R recommendation the OP seems to be looking for hard-sided. I don't know those and B&R don't make those, so I'd let someone else answer.

Apologies for not being detailed on the original post. I'm actually open to hard-sided or soft-sided. The Pathfinder I'm looking to replace was a soft-sided piece.

Will check out B&R. Any other worthwhile brands to look out for?

For those with Rimowa luggage - How have they held up? Are they worth the money?

In that case I'd certainly recommend B&R. I am partial to their "Baseline" models - classic look, basic colors, clean lines and flat surfaces with nothing to get caught in any belt. "Transcend" line has more youthful colors and contoured shapes.

24" is a very useful size, but now is the time to reflect on your own experience and consider if you'd prefer a different size. I find it useful to have two sizes: 24" and 26". For air travel, you don't want anything bigger.
