My first encounter with the kids in East Timor, our planet's newest country. I only spent a few days there, but it felt like a much longer time and I quickly became part of the local community. This little fella apparently liked my company too haha.

They say everything in Australia wants to kill you... However It's certainly not as bad as it sounds and you will barely get across any of the really dangerous animals. This snake is probably not even harmful, but still makes for a good picture in Gregory National Park.

The pool at Lake Argyle was probably the highlight over there, pretty awesome view for sure! It's only this empty in the morning before they open it

This amazing climbing tree can be found in Lake Kununurra, just around the corner of Lake Argyle in Western Australia. Great spot to cool off for a while before hitting the road again!

The beehive shaped hills in the Purnululu National Park form the bungle bungles range and offer a few nice hikes. This one is on the way to whip snake gorge after losing my travel mates, took a while to run into each other again!

The staircase to the Moon in Western Australia is basically a full moon rising over muddy sand bank in the ocean during low tide. The main location to see it is Broome, I missed it there though and see it from Port Headland. In the end, it probably looks exactly the same anyway.
