Two pets in the cabin
So, let's say I am flying J class and have one spouse and 2 dogs. One dog sort of fits comfortably in a Sherpa Bag ( pug) and chubby-but-sweet Yorkie fits in another. What are the odds of their traveling TA with us? We have always wanted the little guys to see VCE. Cargo is not an option, particularly for the pug. Leave them home again?
Thanks..

Thanks..

Was there a particular airline that you were thinking of flying on? Every airline has different rules.
If you are flying B/E on DL they will only allow one pet in the front cabin. Two are allowed in the Y cabin.

After seeing the title I now have the tune to "Three Coins in a Fountain" stuck in my head:
"Two pets in the cabin
Each one underneath a seat"
Here are the pet travel rules for DL and AF:
Delta pet rules
Air France pet rules

I believe that you will have to contact AF concerning how many carryon pets are allowed in a cabin as there is nothing mentioned on their site. BTW, their site says the weight limit for the pet is 4kg including the bag. 4 kg = 8.81849 lb (8 lb and 13.0958 oz) That restriction if they enforce it really limits you to the type of pet you are traveling with.
BTW, in NYC there are rats running around that weigh more than this.

If you're at all flexible on the choice of airlines, look into AA. When I was getting ready to move my 4 furpeople last year, AA had the most generous 'in-cabin pet' allowance of all the airlines I checked. I think the max was 7 per flight between F & Y.
