Does anyone else wonder why Doc posts so many posts?

Does anyone else wonder why Doc posts so many posts? Sometimes, this could be known as the Doc board.

While I don't read every one of Doc's posts, I find information from him that is helpful and interesting. This board is In the News: News That Affects Frequent Flyers and I feel that Doc does a great job keeping to that topic here. I appreciate his posts and look forward to his continued contributions.

Same here. Could we please not rehash these long-distance psychological investigations of doc's motivations and just appreciate what he does?

Just an observation. Some days, I don't need to read a newspaper, just read Doc's posts in FT.

Why is a teleological question after all! BTW, is this really NEWS?

After all, it, or something similar to it comes up every month or two, no? Just check out the past threads.

And are we supposed to be talking about other FT'ers here? Or rather talking travel, and miles, and points?

The answer is actually VERY simple. "I'm kinda' wacko!" I just love FT, and love to help!

And truly it is not the "Doc" board, by any means. Doc is properly listed as a member, and nothing else. I am simply one contributer of content, just as everyone else who posts here is. Providing about 27 posts each day now for over three years does not make it mine. With me or without me, just as with anyone else here, it is FlyerTalk, the best site on the web, IMHO. It's manifestly "Randy and Co's" board! Just check out the domain name registration!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Doc, I do wish you'd give the ones that link to "subscription-required" sites a miss, or summarize the story.

Without rehashing the obvious--okay, I'll rehash it. No one forces anyone to read what doesn't interest them on FT. Doc's posts are informative, and often bring us something of interest that we may have missed in our busy day. Most of us appreciate the time and effort that Doc puts into his contribuions to our FT family. For those of us who may not...just don't open the threads.

Thanks, Doc.

Mark, hang in there.

I dont wonder about DOC or anyone else on this board (except for people offering trades in the Coupon Connection). What matters is the post itself, specifically its content, and for that I find DOCs posts great. So stop wondering about DOC, and just read his posts, or not, depending on whether the posts are relevant to your interests.

And your actual complaint with this is givemeaticketetc?

See if you can post a few things here on FT faster than Doc and I'll be very surprised. "In The News" would simply not be the same Forum without his tireless contributions.

Was not a complaint. Was curious. Curiosity killed the cat. Post Doc post. I hope a moderator closes this thread.
