The British press has had a field day on this story. The two spouses that were at home in England are now prisoners in their own home.
If they arrested these two people, kids who kick the seat (especially in Business Class travelling on an upgrade), and fat people who refuse to buy a 2nd seat at half price and insist on occupying part of your seat (that's theft) should also be arrested.

Well it certainly did get a bit friendly on that flight, and well, something was definately RISING, but the reports do say it was AA. Perhaps a new marketing campaign they were working on... I know, certainly shouldn't joke about this.
I feel very sorry for the poor spouses of these two executives. Not only does everyone know about their marriage probably going to divorce, but the male partner here has been terminated already, so alimony may not be coming...
Think they can get off by pleading lack of oxygen? Then perhaps blame AA for not providing enough air, and sue the airline?
... for thought

Or "former" executive!
Two British pax accused of being drunk and lewd aboard an AA flight from DFW were fined a total of $3,577 today.
Amanda Holt and David Machin plead guilty to being drunk aboard the aircraft, and prosecutors dropped a second charge of "violating public decency."
Gave 'em a "break"
UPDATE

Isn't something very wrong here? The airline overserved their passengers, yet only the passengers are fined? The FA's should be fined too. They are specifically not supposed to overserve alcohol.
Not that I think these two lovers should have been arrested. It was a victimless crime (unless you count adultery) since none of the other passengers had to watch. They could have minded their own business if it was offensive.
However if I'd been on that flight and had a camera...

Finally, a news story that raises British stature in my estimation
BTW, Stimpy: I've always believed that dram shop laws and liability point the finger in the wrong direction...
