Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines Merge - Impact on frequent flyer membership and points

Big announcement on Dec 3rd. 'Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines have reached an agreement to combine, expanding service and benefits for our guests'
Does anyone know what this means for requesting flyer memberships and points with each airline?
