Ok...not Skymall, but reminded of this on Amazon. The reviews are hilarious.

Banana Slicer!

Another favorite for us travelers. The literary classic "How to Avoid Large Ships"

Great reviews again

But.... SkyMall just listed things from a bunch of other online stores.... so all the useless things are still out there for the purchasing.... just Google 'em to find 'em. @:-)

Now what will entertain me on planes aside from watching hicks yell at flight attendants and people fight over knee defenders?

I stopped looking at anything in the seat-back when SkyMall started sticking to said seat-back.

That was about the time a Tad's Broiled Steak was hitting the $9 mark.

As many may have heard SkyMall the in flight catalog that has been in seat pockets for years has or will be filing for bankruptcy.

Here are some of the classic hits from the magazine:

Odd. I had two of those although I didn't buy them from SkyMall that's for sure: I tried the scooter luggage and it didn't work out but the Skyrest pillow while goofy is not a bad idea IMO... There are quite a few weirder items in that catalog.

I used to shop the SkyMall catalog for my wife every Christamas. I didn't BUY anything. Instead, I'd cut out add and give them to her. By comparison these made the gifts I actually gave her look pretty okay.

There was many a lengthy takeoff at LGA or JFK Skymall helped me get through so I appreciate them for that. Also, when I was into collecting baseball cards I was able to get a huge box of 20 year olds Topps cards for a good price through them.

Other than that though, not exactly weeping salt tears that they're going away.
