ABC Primetime Preview Weekend
Just curious...had anyone ever been to Disney's California Adventure? I am thinking about taking the family there in September because I heard that ABC is doing a "rub-elbows-with-our-stars" event...Primetime Preview Weekend. My kids just love that John Ritter show and the entire cast is supposed to be there. Plus, will be a nice getaway before school starts. Is it a fun park?

It's ok, but I wouldn't plan a trip around it. It generally opens an hour or two later than Disneyland, closes two or three hours earlier, and IMO isn't worth a separate $47 admission.
But I have an annual pass, and there are some fun things to do. We go there about half the time we go to Disneyland.
I have heard teenagers say they prefered Universal Hollywood to California Adventure.
Keep your expectations low, and maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.
