sorry to hijack this thread, but thought you might be interested, irfan 23- have been taking my son to BOM at least once a year since he was born and seem to have finally discovered the holy grail: jet airways rocks, truly.
ewr to bom via bru..leaves ewr around 8 so most kids will sleep all the way through to bru, the stop is a very manageable 3 or so hours, enough time for the munchkin to run around like crazy, hang out in the kiddie play area by the chocolate store...to say nothing of chocolate store itself! bribing kids with european chocolates is a whole other dimension than with whatever hersheys has to offer
really though, cant say enough good things about the crew on jet airways, who were super accommodating of a parent travelling with an active toddler. there were lots of options for kids on the IES, very palatable food- they even offered ice cream and popcorn as a snack: leading to a blissed out and silent child and a parent who actually managed to read on the flight! didnt think THAT would be happening till he turned 10
