Anyone done a Body Scanner with your kids?
That machine looks a little scary. Is it up and running anywhere? If so, where?
Maybe your kids thought it was cool. I don't know. I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with these contraptions.
P.S. Sorry about the grammar but I decided to leave out the "has" on purpose to keep it brief.

I have not personally taken the kids through, but I have seen other families go through the scanner at DEN. My best guess down to about 7 years, have not seen younger than that (I have a 5 y/o so I am basing my estimate on that). The ones I saw seemed OK and not afraid of the scanner. I think the TSA and parents must have helped them prep before entering.

You've -got- to be kidding.
It shows everything. And the images can be stored and transmitted. With my kids? No way.

Depends on if it's a roller or not. True security would require you to change the diaper, to verify the solid mass is not something you're hiding.
Explosives puffer... no (scarry to most kids). Full body scan... no (scary to most parents).
The problem is, if you refuse a scanner, the requirement is the "basic" (not "enhanced") pat-down. Tough choice. Full image or grope.

When nude images of my children can be digitally saved and later transmitted, I call that kiddie porn. And these machines can do both.

Here outside of OMNILand, we try to use, you know, cogent sentences to express ourselves.
Do you dispute the fact that images taken by an MMR or backscatter machine can be stored? And that these stored images could be easily dumped onto a thumb drive or other portable device? And that once stored, the images can be easily shared? What do you call the nude image of a child that is digitally stored and shared if not kiddie porn?

The difference is while I think it is a near certainty it will happen, you seriously doubt this will come to pass.

With all the free online adult porn that is in color, what makes people think gray images of people, young or old, would be of interest. You are assuming the TSA agents are sick and perverted. That is an unfair assumption. Some also assume that their image will be sold to the internet community. Unless you are a ten+ in looks and bodily features, don't flatter yourself. You aren't that good to be desireable in black and white or gray. No visible features I might add. Just irregularities in body shapes. Come back to earth and get off the ego trip you are on. Get the facts before you complain. Jumping on the b**ch wagon is immature and childlike.

OK, I think I understand. We both acknowledge the fact that it is possible for rogue TSA employees to store nude images (of children, celebrities, attractive women and/or men) and either keep them for private viewing or upload for fun and profit.
