Motion Failed: Motions to be posted for TB member debate in TB Topics Forum
On 28 January 2007, the TalkBoard failed to pass the following motion by a vote of 4-4-1:
Moved by techgirl and seconded by Spiff:
That any motions that are duly seconded and put before TalkBoard for a vote be simultaneously posted in a sticky thread in the TalkBoard Topics Forum along with the voting start/end period for TalkBoard. Motions on topics related to the internal administration of TalkBoard (such as election of officers) and topics requested for discussion by Randy Petersen will be exempted from this posting requirement. Any motion threads posted in TalkBoard Topics will be open for TalkBoard representatives to engage in dialogue about the motion at hand and to answer questions that have been sent to the TalkBoard Liaison about the motion at hand. There will be no requirement for TalkBoard members to post in that thread should they elect not to and the thread will be closed once the motion has passed, failed, or been tabled.

Voting against: bhatnasx, Cholula, gleff, ScottC
Abstaining: ozstamps
