I need to rent a car in Fort Lauderdale over the winter holidays---Dec.26-Jan.2nd. So far, the cheapest rates I've found are in the $400 range(+ taxes). Last year, I was able to find a rate through Thrifty(for a convertible) for $199 + taxes (same approximate time period). Are there any codes/rates out there that are available during the holidays (blackout dates usually apply to any codes I've found). Thanks for your help.
