Hi, I am flying LHR-BKK and then need to travel down to Pattaya. I dont want to take the bus, but what is the cheapest and most reliable way of getting down to Pattaya?

Thanks for your help

Other than taking a bus I think that the only thing cheaper is walking!

Taxi or bus! Two different buses pick up passengers from Suvarnabhumi, Bell Travel right from the terminal and a regular bus from the little bus station at the airport. Bus prices from around 120 baht to 200 baht (if Bell travel raised their prices, otherwise 150 baht.)

Taxi between 1000 baht to 1800 baht. There may be some private taxi services who work on a call basis that are a little cheaper that someone else can provide the telephone number for.

Hitchhiking should be somewhere in between bus and walking.

If you dont want to take the bus, e-mail [email protected]. They charge 1,000 baht total, tolls included for a car BKK to Pattaya. They have always been reliable for me and you aren't going to get a taxi much cheaper than that.
