I just returned from a 2-week trip to Asia, and have an AIS 1-2-Call SIM that someone might be able to use -- it's free to the first reply via PM.
It's got 107 baht on it, and is currently on the 6 hrs of EDGE access for 50 baht/month data plan (it's changeable by calling 1175 customer sevice number). I used the SIM in my unlocked iPhone, and got 130-150 kb throughput consistently in Bangkok and Phuket.
The SIM is valid until July 12, 2008, so please reply only if you can use it before it expires. I'll send it via first class US mail with the booklet (which is in Thai, so it's likely not terribly useful without language proficiency).
Enjoy!

I'll be in Thailand next week and would like to use a 12call card in my officially unlocked iPhone 3G (bought in France). This iPhone isn't jailbroken. Would it work right away?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

One last question: I've just read that AIS has unveiled their 3G network in BKK and CNX. From the information I could gather, it however seems to be using the 900 MHz band. The iPhone only supports 3G in the 850/1900/2100 bands.
Can anyone confirm this information?
It would mean that the iPhone 3G can't use AIS 3G network...

AIS has a "store" right when you get out of customs at BKK ,
It was open at Midnight last month , so I assume you could get a Sim from them and a refill card and they could set it up for you....
