Switching Airlines in BKK

Hey all,

Need some help on what to expect when transiting BKK... Taking PR to BKK from MNL and then taking Air Asia from BKK to Phuket. How do I do this? I gave myself a good 3 hours or so both ways to ensure I'll make it. If anyone could write this out step by step i'd be MORE than appreciative!!

You must clear immigration, collect your baggage, clear customs, go upstairs and check in again and re check you luggage at the regular AirAsia check-in counter just the same as if a taxi dropped you off at BKK. There is no airside or on-line check-in nor any kind of interlining for AirAsia at BKK. 3 hours should be plenty of time though.
