Need Overnight Excursion Ideas from BKK
I will be traveling to Thailand in late November and could use some ideas for what to do for two days/one night. I'll be staying in BKK for 4 days and HKT for another 4 days but have some time to play while in BKK.
Is it worth it to fly to Chiang Mai for just the day? Siam Reap? Other locations? Prefer to fly to wherever I go for just the day.
Thanks!

One night is definitely not enough for Chiang Mai.
I think an overnight stay in Kanchanaburi would work. Along the way you could visit the floating flower market, then go on to visit the war museum, the "Death Railway" bridge, and the prisoner of war cemetery. Next day you could visit Erawan National Park and its waterfalls. If you were staying at least two nights, I would recommend a visit to either Hua Hin or Ko Samet.
